Brook does not have a limit – if 20 people call at once, she can handle it.
How will the front desk know if Brook couldn't help a guest?
Each time a call ends, Brook emails a summary of that call with any follow-up actions prioritized and flagged.
I have a multi-location salon, and I only want to use Brook at one or two of the locations – is that possible?
Yes! You can choose some or all of your locations to forward calls to Brook.
Can I only use Brook after hours? Or can she cover the phones during the day?
We offer three great options! You could subscribe to Brook for just after-hours, where she will automatically take calls if it rings 4x or more. You could add on Brook Overflow, and Brook will also take calls if all your lines are busy. For a comprehensive approach, you could choose our AI Call Center option, which will make Brook your first line of guest support, taking all calls 24/7 with the option for guests to talk to your front desk when needed. Can a guest reschedule existing appointments?
Yes – Brook can access client history and reschedule appointments.
Can a guest cancel an appointment outside of the 24-hour notice period with Brook?
Brook will follow your salon protocol. For a guest calling with enough notice, Brook will go ahead and cancel. For a guest calling with insufficient notice, Brook will politely take a message and email you an urgent note, so you can decide how to proceed.
Can Brook book both salon and spa?
Yes! If your software has salon and spa services, then Brook can book them.
Some of our services require a personal touch – what if I don't want Brook handling these services?
We totally understand that some services should only be booked after talking to a person. If you have these listed separately in your software (e.g. offline for booking), Brook will know what to do. When a guest asks to book a complex service, Brook will take a note and send you an email to follow up. With our AI Call Center option, Brook can even transfer the call to your front desk right away.
