In addition to running her businesses, Vivian remains actively involved in the industry and her community, with a strong focus on mentorship, education, sustainability, and giving back. She leads with intention and a deep commitment to the people behind the business.

Detlev Gessner is a Miami-based entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in the salon industry. He has owned and operated salons in both Miami and Berlin, Germany, giving him a unique international perspective on beauty, business, and leadership.

Beyond owning salons, Detlev has spent many years coaching and mentoring salon owners, helping them grow stronger teams, run smarter businesses, and adapt to an ever-changing industry. He’s known for his practical approach, straight talk, and deep understanding of what really works on the salon floor.

Originally from Germany, Detlev has lived in Miami for more than 30 years. When he’s not working, he’s a proud dad of two adult sons and enjoys reading, movies, aquariums, and spending time with friends.
